Internships at StageSource

Our internship program is currently on hiatus. More information to come soon!

StageSource is a non-profit organization that has been serving thousands of individual theatre artists and hundreds of organizations for over 30 years. We provide leadership and services to advance the art of theater in the Greater Boston and New England region. Our mission is to unite theater artists, theater companies, and related organizations in vision and goals that inspire and empower our community to realize its greatest artistic potential.

Our internships can be hybrid or fully remote. Our office is in the Fort Point area in the Midway Studios Building. We are a part of the Cultural Equity Incubator along with Abilities Dance, Art in the Antilles, Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, Arts Connect International, Danza Orgánica, Digital Soup, Dunamis, MassCreative, Midday Movement Series, and The Flavor Continues.

StageSource Internships are a wonderful opportunity for students to have high impact on the organization itself while exploring the Boston theater community. Each internship is tailored to the student's individual learning objectives and career goals. We've listed some example internships below, but these are just a sample of what your internship could look like! We invite you to look through our mission, services, resources, and sector improvement initiatives to find what speaks to you and your goals.

Both for-credit and non-credit internships are available. Non-credit internships are a maximum of 10 hours/week, paid at $14.25/hour. For-credit internships may be paid at the same rate, dependent on the requirements of the university and can be sponsored through outside funding, such as the Yawkey Nonprofit Internship Program. Housing is not provided.
